ଭୋରିକୋନାଜୋଲ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Voriconazole, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଭିଫେଣ୍ଡ/ Vfend) ଏକ କବକ ବିରୋଧୀ ଔଷଧ (antifungal medication) ଯାହା ଅନେକ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ କବକ ସଂକ୍ରମଣର (fungal infections) ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଆସପରଜିଲୋସିସ (aspergillosis), କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡିଡିଆସିସ୍, କ‌କସିଡାୟୋଡୋମାଇକୋସିସ (coccidioidomycosis), ହିସ୍ଟୋପ୍ଲାଜମୋସିସ (histoplasmosis), ପେନିସିଲିଓସିସ(penicilliosis) ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୋଗ ଓ ସେଡୋସ୍ପୋରିଅମ (Scedosporium) ତ‌ଥା ଫୁସାରିଅମ (Fusarium) ସଂକ୍ରମଣରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୩] ଏହି ଔଷଧ ପାଟିରେ ବା ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତରରେ (injection into a vein) ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୩]

ଭୋରିକୋନାଜୋଲର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ସମସ୍ୟା, ଅଇ, ଉଦର ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା, ରାସ, ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା ଓ ହାଲୁସିନେସନ ଦେଖାଯାଇପାରେ (seeing or hearing things that are not present) ।^[୩] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଶିଶୁର ହାନୀ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଏହା ଟ୍ରିଆଜୋଲ (triazole) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏକ ଔଷଧ ।^[୩] ଏହା କୋଷ ପରଦାକୁ (cell membrane) ବା କବକର ମେଟାବୋଲିଜ୍ମ (metabolism) ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରିପାରେ ।^[୩]

ଭୋରିକୋନାଜୋଲ ସନ ୨୦୦୨ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୫] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହେବାକୁ ଏହା ସ୍ୱୀକୃତିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି ।^[୬] ସନ ୨୯୧୭ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ବାବଦ ଦୈନିକ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୪.୮୬ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହୁଏ ।^[୭]
