କ୍ଲୋମିଫିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Clomifene, ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରକାର ଲେଖାଯାଏ clomiphene) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଡିମ୍ବକ୍ଷରଣ ନହେବା (do not ovulate) ଯୋଗୁ ବନ୍ଧ୍ୟା (infertility) ହୋଇଥିବା ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ବିଶେଷତଃ ପଲିସିସ୍ଟିକ ଓଭାରି ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ (polycystic ovary syndrome ଥିଲେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହା ଯୋଗୁ ଯାଆଁଳା (twins) ପିଲା ହେବା ସଂଭାବନା ଅଧିକ ଥାଏ । ଦିନ‌କୁ ଥରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୧]

କ୍ଲୋମିଫିନର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ପେଲଭିସ ବା ଶ୍ରୋଣୀ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା (pelvic pain) ଓ ହଟ ଫ୍ଲସ (hot flushes) ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ଆଉ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ, ବାନ୍ତି, ନିଦ୍ରା ସମସ୍ୟା, ଓଭାରି କର୍କଟ ଓ ବାତ (seizures) ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୨]^[୧] ଯକୃତ ରୋଗ liver disease ଓ ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏନାହିଁ ।^[୨] ସିଲେକ୍ଟିଭ ଏସ୍ଟ୍ରୋଜେନ ରିସେପ୍ଟର ମୋଡ୍ୟୁଲେଟର (selective estrogen receptor modulator) ବା (ଏସଇଆରଏମ/SERM) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର କ୍ଲୋମିଫିନ ଏକ ଔଷଧ ।^[୩] ଏହି ଔଷଧଦ୍ୱାରା ହାଇପୋଥାଲାମସରୁ (hypothalamus) ଗୋନାଡୋଟ୍ରଫିନ (gonadotrophin) କ୍ଷରଣ ହୁଏ ଓ ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଔଷଧ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୨]

ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ସନ ୧୯୬୭ରେ କ୍ଲୋମିଫିନ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୧] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୪] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ଏକ କୋର୍ଷର ହୋଲସେଲ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨.୦୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।^[୫] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ କୋର୍ଷର ହୋଲସେଲ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୪.୮୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।^[୬] ସ‌ହାୟକ ପ୍ରଜନନ ପ୍ର‌ଯୁକ୍ତି (assisted reproductive technology) କାଳରେ ଏହାର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୭]
