ପ୍ରଫେସର ସତ୍ୟେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାଥ ବୋଷ (ବଙ୍ଗାଳୀ: সত্যেন্দ্র নাথ বসু ଶୋତ୍ତେନ୍ଦ୍ରୋନାଥ ବୋଶୂ ; ୧ ଜାନୁୟାରୀ ୧୮୯୪ – ୪ ଫେବୃୟାରି ୧୯୭୪) ଜଣେ ଭାରତୀୟ ପଦାର୍ଥ ବିଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି , ସେ ଗାଣିତିକ-ଭୌତିକ ଶସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ପାରଦର୍ଶୀ ଥିଲେ । ସେ ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡର ରୟାଲ ସୋସାଇଟୀର ଫେଲୋଶିପ (FRS) ପାଇଥିଲେ ।[୧] ତାଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମ କଲିକତାରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀ ପ୍ରଥମାର୍ଦ୍ଧରେ (୧୯୨୦) ସେ କ୍ଵାଣ୍ଟମ ମେକନିକ୍ସ (Quantum mechanics) ପାଇଁ ଜଣାଶୁଣା ଥିଲେ , ଯାହାକି ବୋଷ-ଆଇନଷ୍ଟାଇନ ପରିସଂଖ୍ୟାନ ଓ ବୋଷ-ଆଇନଷ୍ଟାଇନ କନ୍ଡେନ୍ସେଟ୍ର ମୂଳ ତତ୍ତ୍ଵ ଥିଲା । ୧୯୫୪ ରେ ସେ ଭରତ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ପଦ୍ମ ବିଭୂଷଣ ରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ।[୨][୩] ତାଙ୍କ ନାଁ ଅନୁସାରେ ବୋଷନର ନାମକରଣ କରଯାଇଥିଲା । [୪]
